Margaret Baltus, SHRM-CP

Foth

Margaret Baltus, SHRM-CP has worked in the HR field for over 15 years.  She graduated Suma Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources and Organizational Leadership from Rasmussen University in 2016.  Margaret obtained her SHRM -CP in February of 2020.  She is currently employed by the Foth Companies as an Sr. Organizational Development Leader.  In her role, she is responsible for member/employee engagement activities, corporate meetings and events, internal communications, and organizational change management.

Lori Rausch, PHR

Great Northern Laminations

Lori has been in Human Resources for over 20 years in various roles in the manufacturing industry.  She has worked in both union and non-union environments with a concentration on employee relations and training and development.  She holds an Associates of Arts in Business Administration degree with a concentration in Human Resource Management from American InterContinental University; graduating with honors.  She also earned her PHR in early 1998 and is currently studying to earn her SHRM-SCP.  For the past several years Lori has volunteered on the WISHRM Conference Committee helping to enhance the HR experience for the many who attend each year. 

Currently Lori is the Human Resources Manager for Great Northern Laminations with responsibilities at the corporate office in Appleton as well as the four remote locations in CA, OR, PA and FL.  In her role, she develops Human Resource policies and programs in organizational planning, employee development, employment, on-boarding, training, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and employee services that adhere with the company’s vision, mission and core values.  Lori’s passion within HR has been the training and development of the employees and helping them become future leaders of an organization.

Renee Kozlowicz

Fox Valley Surgical Specialists

Renee has been in the Human Resources field for 14 years working in a variety of positions and has over 20 years in the healthcare field. Currently working at Fox Valley Surgical Specialists, as their HR Manager, and operating as an HR department of one, she wears many hats including compensation, hiring, benefits, compliance, and employee relations. 

Personally, she enjoys watching her son play college baseball at Carroll University and her step-son will be playing football at UW-LaCrosse this coming fall. She also enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, her 2 granddaughters, and traveling with her husband when possible.

Lindsey Thern

Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Specialists

Lindsey brings nearly 20 years of experience in the Human Resources field across manufacturing, retail, finance, and healthcare sectors. She is passionate about benefits and takes pride in helping employees understand and maximize available resources. Throughout her career, she has partnered with employees and leaders to provide practical, people-focused HR support, clear communication, and a strong commitment to a positive employee experience. 

Lindsey holds an associate's degree in HR and is the HR Generalist at Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Specialists (OSMS) in Neenah. Her primary responsibilities include benefits administration, development of HR policies, talent acquisition, and employee engagement. She is also an active member of the organization's Community Involvement Committee. 

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, especially near the water, at her camper, or simply enjoying time with her dogs. Her husband is a crop farmer, so their life often follows the rhythm of the seasons and the busy pace of time in the field.

Kortney Jenks, SHRM-CP

City of Oshkosh

Kortney has been in the Human Resources field for 16 years in a variety of industries and Human Resource functions.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay.  Kortney received her SHRM-CP certification in December 2016.

Kortney currently works at the City of Oshkosh in Oshkosh, WI as their HR Generalist. In her role she supports recruiting, wellness, training and strategic planning.

Patrick Leigl

von Briesen & Roper, s.c.

Education: University of Wisconsin La Crosse – 2010; Marquette University Law School – 2014 

Patrick Leigl works as an attorney at von Briesen & Roper, s.c., and located in the Neenah offices. He focuses his practice on labor and employment, litigation and government law. 

Patrick’s experience includes significant work in all areas of labor and employment law, including employee disciplinary actions, police and fire commission proceedings, discrimination claims, collective bargaining, and compliance with FMLA, ADA, and employee wages and benefits.  Patrick is also a certified human resources professional through the Public Sector Human Resources Association.  He has extensive litigation experience including all phases of litigation, administrative hearings and numerous jury trials. Patrick’s municipal, county and government experience encompasses a wide range of issues involving human resources, labor/employment, governance, operational, public records and open meeting issues, real estate transactions and tax incremental financing (TIF) and other forms of government financing.  Prior to joining von Briesen, he served as a city attorney and assistant district attorney.

Samuel McIntyre

Sam McIntyre is an accomplished Employee Benefits Advisor known for his consultative approach and impressive record in the field. With a focus on building trusted relationships, Sam's goal is to match each organization with the employee benefits programs that are perfectly suited to their unique needs. He takes immense pride in helping clients become preferred employers by setting strategic objectives and executing employee benefits programs that not only stay on target, but also provide a return on investment. 

Sam graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and has amassed over 8 years of experience in the insurance industry with the last four years spent in the group benefits space.

Sarah Roberts, SHRM-CP, PRC

Navitus

Sarah brings over 20 years of Human Resources experience spanning non-profit and healthcare, and manufacturing environments. Her experience includes recruiting and interviewing, onboarding, fostering strong interpersonal relationships, and associate relations.

Sarah holds a bachelor's degree in human services from UW-Oshkosh. She also maintains a Professional Recruiter Certification and obtained her SHRM-CP in December 2024 after participating in the Fox Valley SHRM study group. Sarah currently serves as a Senior HR Generalist at Navitus Health Solutions where she focuses on associate relations and enhancing the associate experience. 

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys reading, travel, spending time outdoors, exploring supper clubs, concerts, visiting zoos, and connecting with family and friends.

Taylor Linskens

Rise Dental Practices

Taylor Linskens is the Director of Human Resources at Rise Dental Practices, proudly serving and supporting four dental offices across the organization. With a SHRM-CP certification earned in 2023 and three years of HR experience in the dental field, Taylor brings both professionalism and heart to the workplace.

In her role, Taylor oversees hiring, onboarding, training, payroll, benefits, employee satisfaction, office culture, and development—always ensuring alignment with Rise’s purpose of being 5-star caregivers and living out core values.

Her true passion lies in watching employees grow—from their very first day to the confident, empowered team members they become. For Taylor, HR isn't just about processes—it's about people, purpose, and building a culture where everyone can thrive.

Megan Leiser, SHRM-CP

Megan Leiser, SHRM-CP, spent five years in HR leadership before bringing her experience to the employee benefits industry. Because she has been on the client side of benefits decisions, she understands firsthand the opportunities and challenges employers face when building strategies that attract, retain, and support employees.

Today, as a Client Manager at M3 Insurance, Megan works closely with organizational leaders to consult on employee benefits programs and long-term benefits strategies. She combines her HR expertise with industry knowledge to help employers make informed decisions that align with their people and business goals.

Megan earned a master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Health from Washington University in St. Louis and bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Psychology from Illinois Wesleyan University. She also holds the SHRM-CP credential.

When she's not working with clients, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, reading, and unwinding with a glass of wine.

I am a new stay-at-home mom with a passion for the HR field.

I have 25 years of Staffing and recruiting experience and I'm so excited to be able to share my knowledge and work with everyone to grow the resources we have available in the community and to encourage everyone’s strengths to find the right career path for them.

 My husband and I reside in Appleton with our two year old son. I enjoy gardening and spending my time with our family and friends.

Caterina Cortese

Caterina has been in the Human Resources field for 7 years in the Manufacturing Industry. She received her BBA in Human Resources Management from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh. Caterina currently works at Gallmar Industries in Oshkosh. In her role she supports all facets of Human Resources and enjoys having a family oriented team. Caterina is always looking for ways to grow in the Human Resources profession which created her drive to join the Fox Valley SHRM board. Caterina enjoys coffee, going on walks with her Golden Retriever, drinks on a patio and living life to the fullest!
