******* Rescheduled*******

As of April 3, 2020 this event has been rescheduled to April 13, 2021.

*******************************

Human beings resort to fight/flight in the face of conflict.  This conflict is rooted in our perception of whether or not something is a threat to our "safety."  This applies not only to external sources (animals, people, etc.), it also applies to our perception of leadership, and catch phrases like 'Diversity & Inclusion.'  This full participatory presentation will introduce techniques that allow us to more quickly and safely identify, understand, and respond to Diversity/Equity terms and concepts that move us and our organizations forward.

During a networking break, tables of local employers featuring their employee resource groups will be available to ask questions.

During the second half of the presentation, Arletta will walk us through how to create a business case to effectively convince your C-Suite to embrace diversity and inclusion and begin initiatives that ultimately impact your company's ability to recruit, retain, and make a difference to the bottom line.
