Historically, the Human Resource Management function throughout organizations has been responsible for “doing“ the human resource management function of the organization. This session will discuss the increasing focus on employee empowerment and involvement in decision making, the evolving role of the human resource management function and how you can evolve your function from transactional to strategic.
Increasing the function of the human resource management department is to:
1) Train, coach and support the other parts of the organization in the completion of basic human resource management functions
2) provide technical and legal support for the human resource management function
3) provide organization-wide perspectives on human resource management
4) manage organizational culture.
This seminar focuses on why this transition has occurred and what it means for those in human resource management and those who are responsible for an organization’s human resource management functions.
