Fox Valley SHRM has invited the Law Firm of Conway, Olejniczak & Jerry, S.C. to share their knowledge and expertise regarding harassment and the recent focus on this topic in the workplace. This program will include information on what companies can do to protect themselves and proactive steps employers can take.

In this workshop, attendees will learn how the new EEOC rules, recent court decisions and the #MeToo movement impact sexual harassment policies, investigation and discipline procedures and training requirements.  Attendees will learn how to identify “gateway behaviors” and how those behaviors should be addressed in policies and disciplinary practices.  The workshop will also include recommended modifications to harassment trainings to keep pace with recent legal changes.   Sample forms and policies will also be available for attendees.
