President - Kelly Janssen

Kelly Janssen has been in Human Resources for almost 12 years in a variety of industries (Staffing, electronic manufacturing, engineering, food processing, distribution).  She has been with Fabio Perini North America as their Human Resources Manager since April 2016.  In this role she is responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of all Human Resources functions including: Organizational development/management, Benefits, Compensation/ Performance Management, Internship Management, Employee Training, Health & Wellness Coordination, Recruiting, Immigration and Payroll.  

Prior to Fabio Perini, Kelly was the Senior Human Resources Generalist at Werner Electric Supply.

Kelly has a Bachelors of Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Human Resources from Cardinal Stritch University.  


President Elect - Nykki Milhaupt

Nykki Milhaupt, PHR, SHRM-CP, CCP, MBA, has worked in the HR field for 10+ years.  She currently works at Quad/Graphics as a Senior Compensation Analyst, where her primary responsibilities are to recommend, develop, and implement team member compensation structures; conduct analysis on internal and external salary statistics; configure pay ranges and evaluate new team members titles; create and maintain position descriptions.  Nykki has her undergrad degree from UW-Madison and her MBA from Edgewood.

Jennifer Hazaert has been in the Human Resources field for over 7 years. She graduated with a Bachelors in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources and Marketing from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay. Jennifer received her SPHR certification in 2015 and SHRM-SCP certification in 2016.

Jennifer currently works at Plexus in Appleton as a Human Resource Generalist. In her free time Jennifer loves spending time with her husband and two children.

 

 VP of Electronic Communications - Hannah Westphal

Hannah is currently a Human Resource Generalist at Oshkosh Corporation and has 6+ years of HR experience, some of the time spent as a Generalist and most time spent as a Benefits Specialist. Hannah received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Human Resources from the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh. Hannah has worked in the non-profit, manufacturing, agriculture, and retail sector during her career in HR.  Hannah is very passionate about HR and is interested in growing her career as a Human Resource Professional.

In her free time, Hannah enjoys spending time with her son, enjoying the outdoors, and giving back to the community.

Karen Steinhofer has worked in the human resources field for less than 1 year professionally, and has 2 years of internship experience. She currently holds the role of Human Resources Assistant Advance at Lawrence University in Appleton, WI. Karen has her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Human Resources Management from UW Oshkosh. Karen is excited to grow in the human resources profession and looks forward to learning more about each specialty in HR.

Jason has worked in human resources since 2003, serving a variety of industries.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, and completed the Professional in Human Resources certification in 2012.  He has maintained Certified Staffing Professional certification through the American Staffing Association since 2006.  Jason has been involved with the Fox Valley SHRM Workforce Readiness team since 2006, and has been the Vice President of Workforce Readiness since 2013.

Cassie Krause is the Human Resources & Safety Manager at Carew Concrete and is based at the Corporate office in Appleton, WI.  She currently has been in the Human Resources field for over 12 years.  Cassie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in December 2004.  She obtained her PHR in May 2007 and her SHRM-CP in January 2015.

Cassie enjoys spending time boating, skiing/snowboarding and doing other outdoor activities with her husband and 2 children.

As the Manager of Talent Acquisition, Jay is responsible for leading the Plexus Neenah Operations Talent Acquisition team to develop talent acquisition strategies for campus relations, community partnerships, social media recruitment and team development that will bring great talent to Plexus.

Prior to Plexus, Jay was the Senior Seeker of Talent at Goodwill NCW and was a Human Resource Generalist at Dunham Express in Milwaukee.

Jay received a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2000. Jay earned his certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) in 2003 and his SHRM-CP in 2014.

 

   

Treasurer - Angela Murray

Angela Murray, PHR, SHRM-CP has been in the Human Resources field for 12 years in a variety of industries and Human Resource functions.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resources Management from the University of Wisconsin – Stout.  Angela received her PHR certification in June of 2014 and her SHRM-CP certification in January 2015. 

Angela currently works at Jackson National Life/SII Investments, Inc. in Appleton, WI as a Human Resources Generalist II. In her role she supports the general Human Resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and leave administration.  Angela is dedicated to continual learning and growth in the HR profession and looks forward to making valuable contributions to FVSHRM Board and being a strategic partner in the continued improvement of the financial process for the Board and Chapter. 

 

VP of Legislation - Rebecca Kellner

Rebecca Kellner, JD, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, ARM is currently the Compliance Officer & HR Consultant, VP with Associated Benefits and Risk Consulting.  Rebecca is passionate about helping clients simplify the complicated and advises employers on complex issues involving leaves of absences, accommodations and discrimination. She also partners with clients on a proactive basis, such as with early intervention of claims and management training. She is a regular speaker on a variety of HR and leadership topics.

While in private practice, she focused on defending workers’ compensation claims and handling Medicare-related issues arising from those claims. Previously, she interned with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and for a plaintiff’s employment law firm. Rebecca has a BA, Human Resource Management, University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and a JD from Marquette University Law School, WI.

Janine L Diana, PHR, SHRM-CP, CCP is the Executive VP Talent Strategies at Innovative Talent Solutions, LLC.  With over 20 years of experience in human resources, Janine has lead the leadership development, training, workforce planning, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and volunteer programs in various for-profit and non-profit organizations.

With a passion for the human resources profession, coaching, and a nature teacher, Janine would love the opportunity to support others in obtaining their career aspirations toward certification.

 

Secretary - Elaine Ruh

Volunteering in the community is a big part of her passion. Elaine  has been volunteering with Special Olympics in the Fox Valley on the Regional Games Management Team for 9 years. She also volunteered at the Neenah Animal Shelter as an HR consultant on the Board of Directors.
 
Elaine received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh in 2008. She currently attending Concordia University Wisconsin for her Masters Degree in Human Resources with graduation set for December of 2016. Her PHR was obtained in June 2013 and her SHRM-CP certification in January 2015.

Currently,  Elaine is employed with Werner Electric as the Talent Acquisition Specialist within the Corporate HR team. Werner Electric just recently opened their brand new Regional Distribution Center (RDC) and is quickly growing the workforce to support the RDC and all other locations. Elaine is working with many different networks in Wisconsin to continue to bring in strong caliber talent to compliment the growth of Werner. 


VP of Marketing and Public Relations - Dawn Sonnenberg

Dawn Sonnenberg has been in HR since 1990 in a variety of industries including Retail, Staffing, and Non-Profit.  She has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration Major with emphasis in Human Resources & Marketing. Dawn typically take an active role in her community with serving leadership roles in organizations such as United Way, The Fox Cities Chamber, Appleton Fox Cities Kiwanis, Neenah-Menasha Best Friends and now Fox Valley SHRM. She is currently serving on the FVSHRM board in the role of VP of Marketing & Public Relations.
 
Dawn currently works at Qualified Staffing as the Operations Manager.  In this role, she oversees all functions of the HR, Business Operations and Sales.  In her free time Dawn enjoys entertaining family and friends with good food and drinks, quality “pack time” with her dogs, gardening, golf, and in the summer relaxing on the patio with husband…and a good glass of wine :)
