About the presenter: Robert Stutman has been called "one of our nations heros" by Dan Rather, but we probably know him best as "the most famous narc in America" (New York Magazine). Taking to the front lines of the drug wars, Bob made a 25-year career as one of America's highest profile drug busters. While a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agent, he was once so visible, a Colombian cartel targeted him for assassination. Starting his law enforcement career as a street agent, Bob rose to become the head of the New York office, the DEA's largest. After leaving the DEA, Bob continued to fight against substance abuse by establishing Robert Stutman Associates, which later became the Stutman Group, a firm that works with corporations and communities across the nation in dealing with the issue of substance abuse. To date, Bob has worked with more than 1,000 corporations, demystifying the many misconceptions about drugs as they relate to families, children and the workplace. He presents practical answers that work and points out mistakes that are made by companies in dealing with the issue. Bob is a special consultant on substance abuse for both CBS and PBS; and the US Congress has appointed him to a panel studying national drug policy. His numerous television appearances include PBS Frontline, 60 Minutes, Nightline, Today and Rivera Live. He has been featured in Time, Newsweek, and the New York Times and Warner Books published his autobiography, "Dead on Delivery", which became the basis for the TV Movie "Mob Justice". His extensive speaking tours have brought him before hundreds of audiences in 70 countries and have earned him numerous awards as a presenter. This program has been approved for 3.0 General recertification credit hours toward PHR, SPHR, and GPHR recertification through the HR Certification Institute.
