About the presenter:
Mitchell Quick, a partner at Michael Best & Friedrich, focuses his practice includes all aspects of management labor and employment law, with an emphasis on employment discrimination litigation, wrongful discharge, and wage and hour law issues. He has represented large and small manufacturing facilities, dairy cooperatives, hospitals, financial institutions, nursing homes and county and municipal employers. He is co-author of Michael Best & Friedrich’s “Guide to the Fair Labor Standards Act” and editor of the Firm’s “Wage and Hour Question of the Month.”Mr. Quick's practice further includes significant experience in government contracts law, with an emphasis on prosecution and defense of bid protest, size protest, and claims under the Contract Disputes Act.Mr. Quick was recognized in the area of labor and employment law in the 2009-2010 issue of The Best Lawyers in America, published by Woodward/White, Inc. He was acknowledged as a "Wisconsin Super Lawyer" in the area of Labor and Employment Relations in the November 2005 issue of Milwaukee Magazine. Mr. Quick has an “AV” rating, (the highest rating) from Martindale-Hubbell. This program has been approved for 3.0 General recertification credit hours toward PHR, SPHR, and GPHR recertification through the HR Certification Institute.
